How precise is the MIP insertion compared to an external SFN Adapter/MIP inserter ?

The precision is the same or better as an external SFN adapter. The values for the MIP time signaling (STS offset and Pointer) are calculated mathematically using patented technology. The time supplied by the NTP server should be precise up to +/- 10 milliseconds. The IP network jitter between the NTP server and IPE-10 will have to be taken into account when determining the max SFN delay.
